The dried tomatoes produced by our company of Handmade canned foods are a bright red color. The tomatoes are top choice, exclusively Italian. At our factory of a canned foods, we pick the best tomatoes, not overly ripe, after spreading them with salt, we dry them in the sun.
At our factory of canned foods, no chemical additive is used for the drying process. The drying process is exclusively in the sun, and once dried the tomatoes are washed in a sanitized solution, dried which make them hygienically safe.
With this process of Handmade production of dried tomatoes it keeps them “Bright Red” intrinsic feature without losing character and taste.
The traditional character of our dried tomatoes and tomato wraps are guaranteed by the local origin and raw material and the family traditional production. This recipe has been passed down for years, from generation to generation preserving a high quality production.
They are canned and pressed by hand one by one to make sure there are no empty spaces in the inside of the jar.
Our canned dried tomatoes in oil and tomato wraps with anchovies and capers are a delicious appetizers. Can be served on bread as an appetizers.
