Artichokes: Handmade Canned Foods

The artichokes are preserved in oil using the heart of the artichokes, they are rich in Fiber, Iron and contain Cynarin, which helps lower cholesterol levels and may help cure liver disorders.
The production of artichokes and Artichokesni (Small Artichokes in oil ) derive from an antic tradition from our town, Priverno. It was an activity practiced by many.
Thanks to the local production and traditional techniques the final product is of high quality.
We add Wine vinegar, salt and spices for a long lasting taste.
The outside leaves are eliminated and then left with a smaller dimension, but very tender.
Our Artichokes are ideal for meat side dishes or great appetizers.
